Anam Communications designs, produces and manages cultural projects primarily rooted in Gaelic language, song and heritage. Our work spans music production, education, live events and interdisciplinary collaboration, with an emphasis on artistic quality, cultural integrity and meaningful public engagement.

Projects are led by singer, songwriter and arts consultant Brian Ó hEadhra, drawing on over twenty-five years’ experience in the Gaelic and traditional arts sectors.

Anam Communications supports projects at different stages of development, from early concept through to delivery and evaluation.

We work across:

Projects may be artist-led, community-based or commissioned by partner organisations.

Camas

In development for 2026

Camas is a major new cultural project exploring Gaelic song, story and experience through collaborative vocal music.

Rooted in Gaelic tradition while engaging with contemporary artistic practice, Camas brings together unaccompanied and lightly accompanied singing, newly written and traditional material, and collective vocal approaches. The project reflects on place, language, community and continuity, drawing inspiration from both historical sources and lived Gaelic experience today.

Camas is currently in development, with further details to be announced.

Alongside recorded music and publishing, Anam Communications has delivered and supported a wide range of projects, including:

• Collaborative album productions, recordings, and commissions.
